  Suri Network Symposium
A talk presented by Ian Watt, Alpaca Consulting Services, California, USA

This is a presentation made to the Suri Network Symposium in August 2014.

Readers are asked to remember that this is all about the commercial production of fiber in volumes much, much bigger than is being produced in the US today.

It is not a critique of the industry today but is really a reminder that commercial spinners and processors will set market needs and buying patterns, and that we need to recognize that fact if we are to develop into a sustainable livestock industry intent on delivering quality raw fiber to our buying customers.
